Background
Background Information
I am a licensed clinical social worker in practice for thirteen years. I work with individuals (adults 20 and older).
The therapeutic process, as I have come to understand it, is a collaboration between the therapist and the client designed to help provide relief from painful psychological symptoms, overcome challenges and help you live a better life. Sessions are generally 50 minutes long; the length of therapy varies from person to person.
Education
I received my MSW from Hunter College School of Social Work (1995). Post MSW advanced training includes, among other areas, depression/anxiety, grief work, eating disorders and group psychotherapy.
